SPRING IS COMING

a collection by Jonathan Frazier

About the Collection

Throughout my life, I’ve been a pretty hopeful person. For myself, for others, for the world around me.

And yet, life doesn’t always go how we hope.
And sometimes, the crushing weight of reality makes hope seem foolish.

During one of those seasons in my own life, as I sat in a parking lot in the dead of winter, someone very dear to me said, “Winter is here. Spring will come.”

The premise that life can come from death doesn’t make sense.
It very much seems like a foolish concept.
But it’s true.
It’s full of beauty.
And perhaps most important, it’s necessary.

This is how we grow.

This collection serves as a reminder—a promise—that in our darkest, coldest, most lifeless days, we may not know when it will come or exactly what it will look like, but hold on, because spring is coming.
